In a world with increasing requirements, LAAPSA provide effective answers and specific solutions of different complexity degrees; it has been their goal and their continuous commitment for more than 20 years, transforming their customers’ needs in innovations and improvements for production process.
LAAPSA is supported by a highly qualified team of chemists and technical assistants, who excel developing and recommending better practice in industrial lubrication, approaching advanced technologies by means of a complete supply of solutions with the objective to optimize performances and costs. LAAPSA is ISO 9001/2000 certified, focusing on the customers ́ needs for quality assurance, working team, continuous improvement, and beneficial relations with customers and suppliers.
In the last years new lubricants have been developed in order to replace asphaltic oils from the sugar industry because of higher requirements and standards for security, health and environmental issues.By taking advantage of the differentiated characteristics of the new oils, LAAPSA introduces a group of high value products for protecting equipment involved in production.
PRODUCTS:
1. SUGARPRESS BR
ADVANTAGES OF SUGARPRESS | BR
- Consumption savings of up to 1:10 compared to asphaltic oils and of up to 50% compared to graphite type greases.
- Clean lubrication from the start.
- High protection against seizure and wear, avoiding expensive repairs
- Easy to use with automatic lubrication equipment. Adjust consumption levels of SUGARPRESS|BR for best performance
- It provides an effective lubricant seal ring that remains and protects the brass bushings, by resisting the water-washout, and abrasive contaminants
- Elimination of the environmental impact caused by the big volumes of lubricant waste commonly generated in the sugar industry. It can save up to 90% of waste volume, compared to asphaltic oils.
- Elimination of accidents occurring by spills of asphaltic oils.
- SUGARPRESS | BR is an essential product required for all those companies that generate organic products
- SUGARPRESS | BR is biodegradable: 84.61% in 28 days under “Ready Biodegradability 301 B CO2 Evolution Test adopted on 1992” (OECD, 1997), by Bioagri Laboratórios, Piracicaba, S.P., Brasil. www.bioagri.com.br; bioagri@bioagri.com.br
- SUGARPRESS | BR is non toxic: DL50 over 5000 mg/k, under Oral Toxicity Test, method OECD 423 by Bioagri Laboratórios, Piracicaba, S.P., Brasil. www.bioagri.com.br; bioagri@bioagri.com.br
2. TARMELA 9600
TARMELA 9600 is a unique multipurpose lubricating grease of new thickener development with excellent characteristics for a wide range of applications.
It provides exceptional lubricity, thermal stability, rust protection, and water washout resistance. Its mechanical stability surpasses conventional greases and makes it ideal for use in high load applications. It contains no heavy metals or other environmentally undesirable components.
APPLICATIONS
TARMELA 9600 is recommended for any application where good lubricity, mechanical and thermal stability and rust protection are required. Some typical applications:
- Automotive (chassis and wheel lubrication).
- Agricultural (fifth wheel, king pin and bearing grease)
PROPERTIES
Mechanical stability – It shows no change of consistency in the Mechanical Stability Test ASTM D-1832 grease worker, after 100.000 strokes.
Load capacity - Excellent EP properties. It fulfills test Timken (ASTM D- 2509) with 65 lbs, load, and Four Ball Wear Test (ASTM D- 2266) Wear Index of 65 kg and, and welding load of 500 kg.
Thermal stability - Excellent results in the following performed tests:
1. Dropping Point - TARMELA 9600 doesn’t pour until temperatures of 315oC and after cooling to ambient temperature, it recovers its structure.
2. Wheel Bearing Leakage (ASTM D-1263) - in this test, modified at 163oC, TARMELA 9600 doesn't show leakage, hardening, or other signs of failure.
Oxidation Stability – Bomb oxidation stability tests (D-942) produced pressure drops of only 2 PSI after 500 hours and 9 PSI after 1000 hours. These values reflect the excellent oxidation resistance of TARMELA 9600.
Resistance to water
1. Stability worked in water: in a modified ASTM test, TARMELA 9600 was mixed with 50% of water, after
LUBEMAN ENGINEERS PVT. LTD.
working 100.000 strokes, remained with no modification in its consistency.
2. Resistance to the water - In this test, TARMELA 9600, showed an excellent adherence, high water absorption and no sign of breakdown.
3. Water wash-out (D-1264) - TARMELA 9600 compares favorably in front of other special greases.
Corrosion resistance – TARMELA 9600 provides excellent resistance to the corrosion. Passes the Rust Test Rating (ASTM D-1743).
